Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has become the latest public figure to receive threats allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, following a series of similar threats previously directed at Salman Khan.
According to investigators, gang members Aarzoo Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi issued death threats against the actor through a social media post accompanied by an audio clip.
Investigators believe the message may have been intended to signal that the gang remains active despite the FBI's "Operation Hardball" and is continuing its activities without being intimidated.
In the post, the gang accused Aamir Khan and others of promoting "love jihad" in the country, portraying it as an attack on their culture. Employing hostile and derogatory language, the message warned that such actions would not be accepted and threatened to "choke the breath" of anyone allegedly using their celebrity status to promote such acts.
Beyond the threats against Khan, the post also referred to a recent crime involving an innocent young girl in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. While praising the local administration for its handling of the case, the gang issued a violent warning to politicians it alleged were protecting some of the accused.
The message further stated that if those political figures did not immediately stop interfering, they would face the same brutal consequences the gang claimed it intended for any accused persons who managed to evade legal action.
The post ended with a tribute to two deceased associates, Parvesh and Himanshu, describing them as martyrs. It also declared that their sacrifice would not be forgotten and vowed violent retaliation against the gang's enemies.
