TVS Motor Company has celebrated two decades of its legendary Apache brand by launching special limited-edition versions of each model in the lineup — the Apache RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 200, Apache RR310, and RTR 310. In addition to these, the company has launched new top-of-the-line versions of the Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V.
The newest 4V variants, now at the pinnacle of their breed, are fitted with a number of high-end upgrades. These are Class-D projector headlamps with LED DRLs, an entire full-LED lighting system, a 5-inch connected TFT display, traction control, along with new colour schemes and graphics. All these, TVS says, are aimed at providing Apache motorcyclists with cutting-edge safety, connectivity, and performance.
The Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by a 159.7cc, SI, 4-stroke, oil-cooled SOHC engine that produces up to 17.3 hp and 14.73 Nm of torque. TVS says this engine is the most powerful 160cc engine in the air- and oil-cooled motorcycle segment in India. The model also features segment-first technology like three riding modes, dual-channel ABS, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The bigger Apache RTR 200 4V boasts a 197.75cc engine, which churns out 20.5 hp and 17.25 Nm torque, further complimenting the sports bike's sportiness in its segment.
