PM meets American CEOs, extends invitation for larger investment in new tech

He said Qualcomm may look at India as it builds a resilient supply chain for semiconductors if necessary infrastructure are provided in the country.

RBI to purchase Rs 15K cr of securities under G-SAP 2.0
The open market purchase was announced by the RBI after the Monetary Policy Review meeting held in June. The RBI's recent G-SAP auctions have focused on securities across the maturity spectrum with the intention to ensure that all segments of the yield curve remain liquid.

NFRA's audit quality review finds fresh faults with ITNL's statutory auditors
In its Audit Quality Review (AQR) report on the statutory audit of ITNL, the NFRA has not only termed the initial appointment of SRBC & Co LLP, and its continuation as statutory auditor, of ITNL as illegal and void, but has also questioned the audit firms' failure to appropriately and sufficiently evaluate the use of the going concern basis of accounting by the management and thus, missing out on registering the implications thereof in the auditor's report.

"Infosys is committed to making rapid progress in further streamlining end-user experience," said the company in a press note. Over the last few weeks, the portal has seen steady increase in the usage with taxpayers' concerns being progressively addressed. Thus far over three crore taxpayers have logged into the portal and successfully completed various transactions, the note said.
