The poll which gauged the trustworthiness of various corporate groups has, however, found that entities like Hero, Jindal, RPG group and the rest of the corporate groups are trusted only by up to 5 per cent of total number of people interviewed. Sify Technologies to set up data centres with 200 MW capacity
The new data centres will come up in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru where the demand is expected to be more both for colocation and cloud space given the concentration of financial traffic. Entering the data centre market in 2000, Sify over the years has built and operates 10 carrier-neutral data centres, currently offering more than 70 MW at Vashi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Airoli, Noida, Rabale, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
India Ratings downgrades Ford India's ratings
According to India Ratings, the outlook is 'Stable' for Ford India which has announced its decision to stop car production in India. "The downgrade reflects the developing implications with respect to the operational and credit metrics of the entity post restructuring, the quantum of outflows on account of the restructuring, and the agreements with various stakeholders," India Ratings said.

Private liquor vends in Delhi to remain shut from Oct 1 to Nov 16
During this time, only government liquor shops will function in the capital. There are total 849 liquor stores in Delhi, of which 276 are privately-run with the rest being operated by Delhi government agencies, an official said. Many liquor store owners have stopped purchasing new stock so as to exhaust their existing stock by the end of this month post which their shops will be closed.
First estimates put kharif food grain production at 150.5 mn tonnes
The estimate for crop production includes 107.04 MT rice, which is a record production figure, 34 MT nutri/coarse cereals, 21.24 MT maize, 9.45 MT pulses, and 4.43 MT tur while there is estimated production of 8.25 MT groundnut oil and 12.72 MT soyabean, an Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Ministry statement said.

We have no policing authority over containers: Adani Group
