3 Indian-origin women among Australia's Superstars of STEM

Dr Ana Baburamani, Neelima Kadiyala and Dr Indrani Mukherjee will undertake a two-year program in 2023 and 2024 to step into the media spotlight as STEM experts. "The new Superstars reflect the strong diversity of women and non-binary people in Australian science and technology," a Science & Technology Australia (STA) press note stated.

According to the schedule, Candidates will have the time to apply for admission between December 1 and 3. The last date to pay the admission fee and secure admission is December 4, till 11:59 pm. Subsequently, the university will release the second merit list on December 7 and admissions will be from December 8 to 9. The third merit list for PG admissions will be out on December 12  and the admission process will conclude on December 15.

According to media reports, Sunak is considering curbs on foreign students taking "low quality" degrees and bringing dependents. The UK Prime Minister's spokesman said the idea was being considered after official figures showed net migration to the UK had climbed to a record half a million, the reports said.

Meerut medical students 1st in UP to teach MBBS in 'Hinglish'

R.C. Gupta, Principal of LLRM medical college, said, "We have already started teaching MBBS students in the bilingual medium, a first in our state. The state government had given its nod for it over a month ago." Pankaj Agarwal, Head of the Department of Endocrinology at LLRM, said, "As the New Education Policy lays emphasis on education in native language, we have prepared content for various topics of MBBS curriculum in Hindi. It is being compiled in books."

Eligible candidates can fill out the application form at the official IGNOU website — ignou.ac.in. Students have time till December 20, 2022, to fill out the application forms. They can apply for B.Ed Entrance Test, Ph.D. entrance test, and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Programme 2023 admissions. The Weightage of the entrance test is 70 percent and the remaining 30 percent weightage is for the interview.

The Delhi university, on Sunday, November 20, released the list of vacant seats for the first spot allocation round of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Eligible candidates can check the list at the official website– admission.uod.ac.in. The university will declare the first spot allocation list on November 23 at 5 pm. Students will be able to check the list by logging onto the CSAS portal.
5 Indian-Americans selected for Rhodes Scholarship 2023

Shreyas Hallur, Atharv Gupta, Veer Sangha, Amisha Kambath, and Jupneet Singh are among 32 scholars who will begin their graduate studies at Oxford in October next year. The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full time graduate fellowship awarded by the University of Oxford since 1903. The selected scholars can come to the UK for two or more years and can apply to study most full-time postgraduate courses offered by Oxford University.

Eligible candidates can check the cut-off list at the official website - admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates can apply for admission against the special cut-off list from 10 am of November 16 till 11:59 pm of November 17. Meanwhile, colleges have been given time till 5 pm of November 18 to complete the approvals for admissions against the first special cut-off. According to the university's schedule, the last day to pay the admission fee is November 19, 5 pm.
