JNU declares List-1 result for MA, MSc, and MCA Programmes, check out details here

The result has been declared for admission to PG programmes including MA, MSc and MCA programmes for the 2022-23 academic session. Candidates can check their results at the official website  - jnuee.jnu.ac.in. The university has also declared the List-1 result of MTech, MPH, PG Diploma in Big Data, and Advanced Diploma in Mass Media programmes.

Also, the university extended the deadline for assignment submission. Now the students can submit their assignments by November 30. Earlier the last date was October 31. It is important to know that students can register for December TEE  till November 15 but with a late fee. Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 200, if they apply till November 10. A sum of Rs 1100, as a late fee will be charged by the students if they apply between November 10 - November 15.
Academic Bank of Credit will be mandatory for online, open distance learning programmes

Soon UGC is going to send a letter to the higher educational institutions (HEIs) offering online and ODL programmes to mandatorily register their students in ABC. There are 58 HEIs offering online and 86 HEIs offering ODL programmes. UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar told IANS that there will be mandatory compliance of the ABC for programmes offered in ODL and Online mode.

The CSIR NET 2021 exam was conducted in the Computer Based Test(CBT) mode, from 16 to 18 September 2022, in two shifts i.e. morning and evening. The exams were held at 306 centres across 166 cities. The answer key of the exam was released on October 1, later the students were given a chance to raise objections.
QS Rankings: IIT Bombay best in employability, IIT Delhi ranks second

In the rankings, released in London recently, IIT Bombay was evaluated as India's top higher education institution for its excellence in employability, social concern, and environment. IIT Bombay was featured in the 281-300 rank range, followed by IIT Delhi (321-340 rank) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at the third rank (361-380).
DU Admissions 2022: DU releases NCWEB first cut-off list, check out details here

According to the official notification, the first cut-off list has been released for BA (Programme) and BCom courses. The admission process under the NCWEB will begin today, October 26 and will end at 11:59 pm on October 28 at the respective teaching centres. Miranda House college of DU, released the highest cut-off, i.e. 94 per cent for  B.A Economics + Political Science course. While it is  95 per cent at Miranda House and Jesus and Mary college for B.Com admissions.  
DU Admissions 2022: Last date to accept seats under CSAS round 1 today, check out details here

Candidates who are shortlisted in the DU round 1 seat allocation can 'accept' the allocated seat till 11:59 pm on October 22. Candidates are required to do so by visiting the official website-- admission.uod.ac.in. Previously the last date to accept the seats under CSAS round 1 was October 21. Once the students accept the allocated seats to them, then the colleges have time till 2 pm on October 23 to verify and approve the online applications of the selected candidates.
India asks its students in China to register for consular needs

"With concerted efforts, Indian medical students have started returning to mainland China to re-join their respective universities. In order to ensure timely facilitation of their consular needs, Indian students in China are requested to fill in the registration form," a notification on the Indian Embassy's website stated on Friday.
