2.72 cr students pursuing higher education via Swayam portal
This is for the first time that in first five months of the year, 2.72 crore students have registered themselves on Central education ministry's portal. Of them, many students are completing 40 per cent online credit of their regular courses. These involve youths, professionals and homemakers who have registered on Swayam to enhance their skills.

Kamal, who returned home from Ivano city of Ukraine, is currently completing his first year studies in Varanasi. "The government is not listening to us; it has been more than two months. What will happen next? I am unable to understand anything. Medical education cannot be done online, while teachers are going through the formalities to collect fees. We have reached a point from where we cannot go back to study and we cannot study from here as well," he added.

Addressing the fifth convocation of IIM Jammu on Thursday, Kovind congratulated the students, degree holders, their parents and teachers, saying that the students have worked hard for this day which is very important in their lives. He added that the integration of courses and institutes is in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy, 2020.
QS World University Rankings 2023: IISc best in India; DU, JNU, Jamia Millia Islamia slip
Interestingly, ranking of other prominent universities of India like the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi University (DU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) saw a massive drop. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), on Thursday released the 19th edition of the world's most popular university ranking. The QS World University rankings 2023, showed IISc has climbed up 31 places to become 155th best university in the world and number 1 in India.

JGU has retained its No. 1 position among the Indian private universities despite the rise in the number of ranked institutions. For the 2023 edition, QS analysed a total of 2,462 institutions and ranked 1,422 institutions in the world. JGU is ranked in the 651-700 band this year, making it the only private university from India, which has found a place among the world's top 700 universities.
NEET-PG 2021: DGHS tells SC no further rounds of counselling can be conducted, software closed
The DGHS said since the software is closed, further rounds of counselling could not be conducted to fill up the medical seats. The DGHS in an affidavit, submitted the software, which was used for online counselling of NEET-PG 2021, is closed and refund of security deposit for participating in PG counselling has been initiated. It added that NEET-PG 2021 counselling was delayed due to third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
CLAT 2022: Admit Card released, check out details here
The admit card will carry details of the exam center, subject code, candidate's roll number, and reporting time. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the CLAT entrance exam on June 19. CLAT is a national level entrance exam for admissions to Undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 NLUs across the country.

This year over 4 lakh students have appeared for HSLC examination. The overall pass percentage of Assam HSLC result 2022 is at 56.49%. In addition to the SEBA HSLC exam result, Assam High Madrassa(AHM) result 2022 will also be published on Tuesday. In 2022, a total of 4, 31, 132 students have appeared for HSLC examination and 11,245 students have appeared for AHM exam 2022.
NEET PG 2021: SC agrees to examine plea seeking fresh mop-up round for vacant AIQ seats

Apart from these 270 officers, there are also 403 others who qualified for state-level Public Service Commission exams. The academy has never charged any fees from any of its students. In 2022, a total of 23 RCA students managed to clear the UPSC exam. Harish Dayama, a senior IPS officer working in the Counter Intelligence Department of Punjab Police, says that the academy was started in the year 2010 with the financial aid from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in Delhi's Jamia.
