Delhi University to resume offline classes from February 17
"The teaching-learning process in the University of Delhi has been continuing in online mode in view of the onset of Covid-19 Pandemic. The students enrolled in the University of Delhi and its colleges belong to all corners of the country and have been residing in their hometown since the teaching-learning process has continued online. It is difficult for the students in different parts of the country to reach Delhi at a short notice in the prevailing pandemic situation
LU to introduce course in Avadh culture
Introduced in accordance with the New Education Policy, the postgraduate level course will be dedicated to everything that represents Awadh culture. Prof Abbas Raza Nayyar, head of the Urdu department, said: "From Qissagoi, the traditional art of storytelling, to writing shayari to sitting on a Dastarkhwan, understanding Sufiana Kalam, attire, food, language, festivities, everything has been included in the syllabus of the course."

Handing over the charge to Pandit, the outgoing VC and Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Professor M Jagadesh Kumar, said: "I am happy to inform that Professor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, from the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Savitribai Phule Pune University, has been appointed as the next Vice-Chancellor of JNU. She is the first female vice-chancellor of the university. I wish her success in her new role."

Fees of 50% seats in pvt medical colleges to be at par with govt colleges: NMC
"The benefit of this fee structure would be first available to those candidates who have availed government quota seats, but it will be limited to the extent of 50 per cent of the total sanctioned strength of the respective medical colleges and deemed universities," read the guidelines issued by NMC.
'Will create chaos and uncertainty', SC junks plea to postpone GATE-2022

Chandrachud and comprising Justices Surya Kant and Vikram Nath said the court is not willing to entertain a petition 48 hours before the exam, as it will create chaos and uncertainty in the lives of the students who have already registered for the GATE-2022 exam.
