Massive Covid surge forces Harvard Business School to shut down
Dean of HBS Srikant Datar said that the decision to shut down the school has been taken to protect the interest of Harvard University as a whole and protect its image. He further said that the classes will be held online until the end of October. This change affects almost all first-year and some second-year courses.
NEET 2021: SC allows OCI candidates to appear for counselling under general category
The interim order was passed after the OCI candidates had filed a petition challenging the March 4, 2021 notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs to treat them at par with Non-Resident Indians(NRIs) for the purpose of college admissions. This meant that the OCI candidates would have to pay high fees similar to the NRI candidates for the medical course seats in India.
DU 2021 admissions: Aryabhatta and Deshbandhu release first cut-off lists
Aryabhatta's first cut-off list across 13 UG courses has been released. The highest cutoff is set at 98.5 percent for BA (H) Psychology. The cut-off for BA (H) Economics is 98 percent and BA (H) English is 96 percent. Deshbandhu's cut-off for BSc. (H) Physics is the highest at 98 percent.
DU's Ramjas College, SRCC set 100% marks in 1st cut-off list for UG courses
DU's Aryabhatta College has raised its cut-off marks by 1 to 2 per cent this year as compared to the merit list released in 2020. Aryabhatta College has set cut-off marks of minimum 98 per cent for students seeking admission in Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Economics course and upto 97 per cent marks for pursuing B.Sc Computer Science programme.
DU set to release first cut-off list on October 1
Delhi University will release the second and the third cut-off lists on October 9 and October 16. After this the varsity will release a special cut-off list on October 25. The fourth and the fifth cut-off lists will be released on October 30 and November 8, respectively. the number of seats in DU-affiliated colleges will likely be increased this year. A special cut-off list will be released in the varsity for the first time as well.
Delhi schools for junior classes to reopen after festival season: DDMA
The government took the decision of the opening of schools after observing situations from the other states. The increased number of vaccinated people was also taken into account while making the decision. Classes for higher grades of 9th to 12th are already functional in the city. The senior classes had resumed in a phased manner from September 1, 2021, for the first time since March 2020.

Nursery to Class 8 to remain closed for now, decides DDMA
The schools will be opened in a phased manner, an official said. Classes 9 to 12 have already been kick-started from September 1 onwards with no compulsion on attendance. Covid-19 guidelines like maintaining social distancing and use of face masks and sanitiser are mandatory in the school premises.

The window will be open from September 28 to September 29, i.e. today till 11 pm.
