The lighthearted exchange came at the Tacoma Dome, where Rahman was entertaining a sold-out audience.

Rahman's joke winked at the furor that followed during Coldplay's latest performance at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. The band's "kiss cam" found Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, the company's Chief People Officer, embracing what appeared to be an intimate moment. The moment they realized they were on screen, they bolted from the stage. Coldplay singer Chris Martin responded to the cringe, joking, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy."

The viral video clip went quickly online, gathering broad attention and speculation. Its aftermath saw Andy Byron resign as CEO of Astronomer, generating even more buzz on social media.

The incident also sparked a wave of memes throughout the internet. Even the people who work on Baahubali got in on the joke. They shared a meme on Saturday with Prabhas and Anushka Shetty as Baahubali and Devasena from Baahubali 2. The photo, depicting the two having a sweet moment together, was captioned snarkily: "CEO and HR of Maaahishmathi," along with a hugs emoji.

As Rahman tours in Wonderment, the world-renowned composer is performing in the major cities of the U.S. and Canada, entertaining crowds with a mix of his ageless classics and new works. The tour will next proceed to the UK and then will see a return to India in November. The concerts are a tribute to Rahman's legendary status in international music and his universal appeal which continues to inspire generations of followers.
