Netflix sees slowest subscriber growth since 2015, stock tanks 20%

The streaming platform added 8.3 million paid subscribers as opposed to its projected 8.5 million. Netflix now forecasts to add just 2.5 million subscribers in Q1 2022, down from 4 million last year. The forecast and slow growth led to nearly 20 per cent fall in its stock at the close of the trading on Thursday.At $7.7 billion, the revenue in Q4 2021 grew 16 per cent (year over year) with a 9 per cent increase in average paid memberships.
'The Batman' runtime revealed to be 2 hours 47 mins

The news has been confirmed by Variety with a source close to the film. At 167 minutes without credits, 'The Batman' is set to be one of the longest comic book tentpoles ever. Only 'Avengers: Endgame' (181 minutes) and 'Zack Snyder's Justice League' (242 minutes) run longer. 'The Batman' marks Reeves' first movie since 2017's 'War for the Planet of the Apes'. 'Squid Game' propels South Korea to Netflix's No. 2 content supplier

South Korea remained the No. 2 supplier of popular content to Netflix in the fourth quarter of last year, US online media have reported. According to What's On Netflix, a private online site that provides information on Netflix content, on Wednesday (US time), South Korean-made shows accounted for 11.8 per cent of the top 10 films and TV series in the final three months of 2021.
