SRK's line from 'Chak De India' is I&B minister's favourite

"Mujhe koi state ka naam sunai nahi deta hai, na dikhai deta hai, sirf ek mulk ka naam: India. Chak de India," Thakur repeated this famous line to the thunderous applause of the audience. The I&B minister was engaged in a conversation with show host Karan Johar at the inaugural ceremony of the 52nd IFFI. It was at Karan's prodding that he repeated the iconic line, after stating that it would be improper to quote just one dialogue in a country that had more than a billion people.
OTT platforms debut at IFFI with screenings, masterclasses

Also on the programme are two masterclasses presented by Amazon's Prime Video OTT platform, featuring its much-acclaimed series 'The Family Man', where Manoj Bajpayee, who'll participate virtually, plays the lead role, and its epic original production, 'Sardar Udham' -- the film's director Shoojit Sircar will preside over this session. Netflix, meanwhile, will be offering a sneak peek of 'Aranyak', an upcoming crime thriller series starring Raveena Tandon.

The Hindi remake of 'Hit' is directed by Sailesh Kolanu. According to the makers, the Telugu film that was well received by the audience will now transcend boundaries with its remake. The original released in 2020 and was jointly produced by south star Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni. The film features Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the lead roles.
Balaji Telefilms, Pen Marudhar acquire India theatrical rights for 'Jersey'

The film is a remake of a Telugu film of the same title directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and as it diversifies its exhibition territory, the producers of the film have completed the tie-up keeping in the mind the best possible release of the film. Producer Aman Gill says, "After a long wait we are excited to be releasing our film 'Jersey' in theatres and we feel there is no better partner than Balaji Telefilms and Pen Marudhar to achieve the best release for our film."
Waluscha De Souza to appear in music video 'Bollywood Wala Dance

The music single will be released by Tips, Prerna V. Arora and Reshabh D. Saraf on December 18. It is a special dance number choreographed by Piyush-Shazia.
