Saritha had taken an amount to the tune of Rs 42.75 lakh in 2012 from one Abdul Majeed, promising to supply solar panels to him, but she failed to keep her promise. Incidentally, Saritha was ducking the Kozhikode Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court, and despite a few warrants issued against her, she failed to appear before the court.

Ganga Ram Hospital gets 1.5 tonnes oxygen from Delhi govt
"Received 1.5 tonnes of oxygen sent by Delhi government at 3.30 p.m. today through DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation). With this supply, there is 4,500 cubic meters of oxygen which should last for five hours or around 8.30 pm. Rajnath approves hiring of additional staff to cater to surging Covid cases

SC asks States to file report on health infra by Thursday
The Apex Court asked the state governments to file replies by Thursday with regard to their health infrastructure and said that the High Courts are not restrained from passing any directions as they are hearing the cases in their respective states and they know the ground situation better.

SC allows Vedanta to produce only Oxygen at Tutocorin plant
The court said that only the Oxygen plant will be allowed to operate and that the order was passed in view of the national need for oxygen and allowed Vedanta to operate its Sterlite copper unit at Tuticorin to produce oxygen while specifying that only the Oxygen plant will be operational.

Delhi to get 500 temporary ICU beds at Ramlila Maidan
Kejriwal on Tuesday visited two major government hospitals of Delhi - Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital (GTBH) and LNJP Hospital. He said, "We are preparing a 500-bed ICU facility at Ramlila Maidan right in front of LNJP Hospital. This facility is being built for Covid patients only and will be ready soon." Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain was also present with the Chief Minister during the visit.
