Recently released guidelines for the nationwide vaccination drive revealed that the vaccines would be made available to every adult Indian citizen but would require identification data. Unlike before, when the vaccination drive was being operated solely by the government, the new guidelines allow state governments and private hospitals to procure the vaccines and administer them to the general public.

According to the civic officials, a dedicated team has also been constituted to monitor the oxygen situation in the district. MCG Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh chaired a meeting with all his officials on Tuesday and asked them to lay down the necessary guidelines for oxygen supply to the hospitals.
HC warns Delhi govt over black marketing of oxygen
The Court said people were forced to buy oxygen cylinders in the black market for lakhs of rupees while their original cost is only a few hundred rupees. The court said those persons indulging in black marketing of oxygen should be taken into police custody.
Assam imposes night curfew to check Covid surge
Assam Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua said in his order that the curfew would remain inforce till May 1. Barring emergencies, movement of individuals will not be allowed during the curfew period, it added.
25 kg foodgrains for each poor family in MP

Without tankers, oxygen cannot be sent to states, Gehlot stressed. "You should allot tankers too the way you are allowing oxygen. This will help redress the grievances of states, no matter if it is Delhi or Rajasthan or any other state," he told Modi.
