According to the civic officials, a dedicated team has also been constituted to monitor the oxygen situation in the district. MCG Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh chaired a meeting with all his officials on Tuesday and asked them to lay down the necessary guidelines for oxygen supply to the hospitals.
HC warns Delhi govt over black marketing of oxygen
The Court said people were forced to buy oxygen cylinders in the black market for lakhs of rupees while their original cost is only a few hundred rupees. The court said those persons indulging in black marketing of oxygen should be taken into police custody.
Assam imposes night curfew to check Covid surge
Assam Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua said in his order that the curfew would remain inforce till May 1. Barring emergencies, movement of individuals will not be allowed during the curfew period, it added.
25 kg foodgrains for each poor family in MP
