New law to protect Yangtze River takes effect
The Yangtze River conservation law took effect on Monday amid China's intensified efforts to protect its "mother river". With 96 provisions in nine chapters, it is the country's first legislation on a specific river basin, reports Xinhua news agency.

NITI Aayog propose vax price between Rs 300-500
The proposed price has been floated after a five-hour long meeting held between Dr VK Paul, member (health), NITI Aayog and officials from Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech on Friday evening. As per reports, the government has been procuring SII's Covishield for around Rs 210 per dose while the cost of Covaxin is around Rs 290 for a shot.
