Recruit 10 lakh people in 1.5 years: PM to all departments, ministries
Prime Minister Modi has issued the instruction after reviewing status of human resources in all departments and ministries. The Prime Minister's Office tweeted: "PM @narendramodi reviewed the status of Human Resources in all departments and ministries and instructed that recruitment of 10 lakh people be done by the Government in mission mode in next 1.5 years."

2 terrorists killed after encounter breaks out in Srinagar
"Two terrorists of proscribed terror outfit LeT neutralised by Srinagar Police in a swift encounter in Bemina area of Srinagar. One policeman also received minor injury," Jammu and Kashmir Police quoting Inspector General Police Kashmir zone Vijay Kumar tweeted. The encounter started after security forces got a tip off about the presence of terrorists in that area.
Rahul Gandhi summoned again by ED on Tuesday
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was again summoned by the Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday to join the investigation in connection with the National Herald matter. On Monday, Gandhi was questioned by agency officials for several hours. He was given a lunch break after three hours, and went to meet his mother, and Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who is undergoing treatment at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
Covid not over yet, important to be alert: Mandaviya

100 terrorists killed in Kashmir so far in 2022
"Hundred terrorists (71 local and 29 foreign) killed in different encounters in five months and 12 days this year in 2022. Fifty terrorists (49 local and 1 foreign) were killed last year in 2021 in the same duration. Maximum losses to LeT (63) and JeM (24) terror outfits," the J&K Police quoting Inspector General Police Kashmir zone Vijay Kumar tweeted.

In a series of tweets in different languages, the Prime Minister said: "In the last few years, Yoga has gained tremendous popularity globally. People from different walks of life including leaders, CEOs, sportspersons and actors regularly practice Yoga and talk about how it has helped them." Prime Minister Modi also shared a film on 'Yoga in our daily lives'.
India logs 8,084 new Covid-19 cases, 10 deaths
The active caseload increased to 47,995, accounting for 0.11 per cent of the country's total positive cases. The recovery of 4,592 patients in the last 24 hours took the cumulative tally to 4,26,57,335. Consequently, India's recovery rate stands at 98.68 per cent. While the daily positivity rate has increased to 3.24 per cent, the weekly positivity rate stood at 2.21 per cent.
India has 'strong protective shield' of Covid vaccination: Mandaviya
"In the nation's collective fight against #COVID19 under PM @NarendraModi Ji's dynamic leadership, India now has strong protective shield of over 195 crore vaccine doses. Rapidly marching towards hitting the double century! Let's do it at the earliest!", he said in a tweet. As per the data, as of 7 a.m. on June 12, India had administered 1,95,07,08,541 total doses of the Covid-19 vaccine overall.
Sonia Gandhi admitted to Ganga Ram hospital
Congress General Secretary Randeep Surjewala tweeted, "Congress President Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Ganga Ram Hospital today owing to Covid related issues. She is stable and will be kept at the hospital for observation. We thank all the Congressmen & women as also all well wishers for their concern and good wishes." Sonia Gandhi on June 2 tested positive for Covid-19 infection.
