'IT industry proposal to setup hubs in Tier 2/3 cities welcome step'
Goyal has welcomed the IT industry's proposal to start IT hubs in Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns, which would create numerous jobs and help develop the regions. He said the IT industry should identify the towns, and the Centre would assist them in providing all the necessary infrastructure and facilities.

Massive fire destroys British-era Secunderabad Club
One of the oldest clubs in India, Secunderabad Club has been in existence since 1878 when it was founded for the British Army officers in Secunderabad, then a British Cantonment. There was no loss of life in the mishap. According to fire services department, the fire in ground plus two storey building broke out around 3 a.m. The fire call was received 15 minutes later. Seven fire tenders rushed from various parts of twin cities battled for three hours to extinguish the fire and thus prevented it from spreading to other buildings in the premises, an official said.

Centre issues postal stamp to mark 1 yr of Covid vax drive
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya released the postal stamp at a virtual programme, and termed India's vaccination drive as the "most successful in the world". "Today, on the occasion of #1YearOfVaccineDrive, a postal stamp has been issued on the indigenous Covaxin developed jointly by ICMR and Bharat Biotech, realizing PM Narendra Modi ji's dream of Self-reliant India," Mandaviya said in a tweet.
