Delhi hospitals record surge in viral fever, dengue cases
Talking to IANS, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital Medical Director, Suresh Kumar said: "Every year we witness an increase in the cases of viral fever and dengue. This year too, we have witnessed a similar surge. In comparison to last week when we had about 2,500 in all the departments combined, this week's figure has spiked to 3,000."

Assuming every Covid death was due to medical negligence is too much: SC
A bench headed by Justice D.Y. Chandrachud said: "To assume that each death due to Covid-19 took place due to negligence is too much". The bench observed that though the second wave had an impact across the country, however, it cannot be presumed that all deaths occurred due to negligence.
India logs 37,875 new Covid cases, 369 deaths in a day
According to the Union Health Ministry, India registered 37,875 new Covid cases, 21.3 per cent higher than previous day. On Tuesday, India had registered 31,222 Covid cases. With 369 Covid related deaths in the last 24 hours, the total death tally rose to 4,41,411, Ministry's data shows. India has reported 290 deaths on Tuesday.
Partha Chatterjee called by CBI in I-Core chit fund scam
