Top LeT commander among 2 terrorists killed in Srinagar encounter

"Top commander of proscribed terror outfit LeT/TRF Abbas Sheikh and his 2IC Saqib Manzoor killed. A big success," a tweet by J&K police quoting IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar said. The firefight between terrorists and security forces took place after the area was cordoned off and a search operation was launched on the basis of specific information about presence of terrorists.
UP tops in milk production in India

Milk production has gone up from 277.697 lakh metric tonnes in 2016-17 to 318.630 lakh metric tonnes in 2019-20 in UP. In the last four years, 1,242.37 lakh metric tonnes of milk has been produced in the state.Six big companies, including Amul, have set up their dairy plants at the cost of Rs 172 crore in UP in the last four years while work is underway to establish seven others.
Chhattisgarh CM, Minister to meet Rahul amid reports of rift

A bench headed by Chief Justice N.V. Ramana took note of submissions made by senior advocate Indira Jaising, who sought urgent listing of her miscellaneous application, alleging that some high courts have used secret voting process to confer the designation. Jaising filed a PIL in the top court and on her plea, the court had issued a slew of guidelines for designating lawyers as seniors in 2017.
