According to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, in 13 sittings, the functional time was 64 hours and 50 minutes against the total scheduled time of 63 hours and 26 minutes, while the productivity was 102 per cent.In the 13 sittings, 82 starred questions were answered, and response to 1,920 unstarred questions were tabled.

Cabinet approves free ration distribution till Dec 2023

The move will entail a burden of Rs 2 lakh crore which would be completely borne by the government, Commerce and Food Minister Piyush Goyal told mediapersons. More than 81.35 crore NFSA beneficiaries will benefit from the move. Earlier, rice and wheat were provided at subsidised rates to the beneficiaries under NFSA.

Delhi Congress gears up to welcome Bharat Jodo Yatra
