PCB to challenge IPL's proposed extended window at ICC AGM

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), who are feeling "short-changed" by the Indian Premier League (IPL) potentially getting a two-and-a-half-month window in the next ICC Future Tours Programme (FTP), will raise the issue and challenge the development at the ICC AGM in July. However, there has been no announcement from the ICC about the window and the FTP for the next eight-year cycle has not yet been finalised.
No more in contact with Imran Khan: Ramiz Raja

In a press conference today, after the 69th meeting of the PCB Board of Governors, Ramiz Raja disclosed that the ex-premier has cut off ties with him after he was removed from the office. "Imran bhai cut off contact with me. I haven't talked to him for a long time now," Raja said, in response to a question.
Paris Olympics: IOC to conduct boxing competitions, qualifying events on its own; not to involve IBA

The decision by the IOC Executive Board in its meeting in Lausanne on Friday disassociates the IBA from the Olympic boxing program and throws the sport in turmoil once again. Just as it did at Tokyo Olympic Games, the IOC will conduct the entire boxing program for Paris on its own. The IOC will soon come up with a model to conduct the event in Paris Games and the qualifying program for it.
5th ODI: Bowlers, Carey lead Australia to 4-wicket win over Sri Lanka

The win couldn't rescue the series for Australia, but regained some pride, with the ODI series ending 3-2 in favour of Sri Lanka. After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, Sri Lanka were off to a poor start as Josh Hazelwood was quick to dismiss both the Sri Lankan openers.
