FIFA U17 Women's World Cup: India placed with USA, Brazil and Morocco in Group A
The draw for the 16-team event was conducted at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich on Friday. The teams have been divided into four groups of four each, ensuring that two teams from the same FIFA confederation are not in the same group. India will open their campaign in Group A against the United States at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar on October 11.

Adil Rashid to miss India white-ball series to go on Hajj pilgrimage
The 34-year old Rashid, a practicing Muslim decided earlier this year that he had reached the right time in his life to make the pilgrimage, and has been granted leave by the ECB and Yorkshire. He will fly to the Middle East on Saturday and is expected to return in mid-July, ahead of England's white-ball series against South Africa. Rashid expects to miss all six limited-overs against India from July 7 to 17 but said the schedule was not a major consideration in his decision.
Indian junior women's hockey team defeats U.S. 4-1
The Indian team got out to a fast start, winning the first Penalty Corner of the game within the first 10 minutes. Although it didn't materialize, India made its intentions clear as they tried to attack early in the game to grab the lead. Despite their best efforts, neither India nor the United States were able to break the deadlock as the first quarter came to an end.

According to reports, Ronaldo's manager Jorge Mendis has already made a move and offered the 37-year-old striker's service to Juventus. An AS.com report suggests that Ronaldo's manager has offered the footballer to the Italian giants. It has been learned that Juventus have not totally ruled out having star footballer in their side, although there is some doubt over whether they would be able to complete a deal.
