After Meta's COO, another top executive to depart soon
The company said that Jerome Pesenti, Meta's VP of AI, will depart in mid-June after helping it through the early stages of the AI transition. "We are grateful for the incredible work Jerome has done over the past over four years in building, leading, and scaling a world-class AI function for Meta," the company said in a blogpost.
"In the new model we will distribute the ownership of these AI systems back to Meta's product groups," it added.
Chrome to soon block notifications from abusive, disruptive websites
According to a new code change, Chrome will soon be able to automatically revoke a website's permission to send notifications and block any future attempts to ask for the permission, reports 9To5Google. Between websites that constantly ask for permission to use cookies and apps that need to ask for many permission to work at all, it can be easy to unthinkingly click "Allow" when asked if you want to receive notifications.
Twitter enters restructuring mode, focuses on user growth
The restructuring is happening under Jay Sullivan, the new head of product and interim head of revenue, reports Bloomberg. Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal last month fired consumer product leader Kayvon Beykpour and head of revenue product Bruce Falck, saying there is a hiring freeze now and Twitter will also pause spending in most areas.

Google TV app is now available on iOS platform
The tech giant said that it will replace the previous Google Play Movies and TV app in the App Store, so if users have already got that installed, they should be able to update it to the Google TV experience, reports The Verge. According to Windows Central, the new feature, which was spotted and shown off by Neowin, looked like it will work with both mobile devices and PCs. "Your files and notes will be available across all your signed in mobile and PC devices," said the description of the tool. Drop, which is part of a controlled rollout, works with OneDrive, allowing people to store large amounts of content.
