Tinder users can now run in-app background checks on their matches
Dating app Tinder has announced that its users in the US can now run background checks in-app to screen their matches for possible violent or harmful past behaviour. The company said that Garbo's new online background check platform will be made available to the general public in the US and will also be launched to Tinder members via Tinder's Safety Center.

Twitter Shops to allow sellers showcase more products
Micro-blogging site Twitter has introduced a new shopping feature 'Twitter Shops' which would allow merchants to curate a collection of up to 50 products to showcase on their profile. The feature, which is free to use, gives people the chance to view products from the profiles of their favorite brands, so when you talk about and discover products on the timeline, you can now browse them on Twitter, too.
Amazon suspends shipments, Prime Video streaming in Russia
Amazon has suspended shipment of retail products to customers based in Russia and Belarus, and will no longer provide customers with access to its streaming service Prime Video in Russia. The company said that it will no longer be accepting new Russia and Belarus-based AWS customers and Amazon third-party sellers.

Sony suspends PlayStation store, console sales in Russia
Sony's gaming division Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it would stop hardware shipments and software launches in Russia, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The company will also pause shipments of the new racing game Gran Turismo 7 to the country. As per report, Sony has announced a $2 million donation to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the NGO Save the Children to support those affected by the invasion.

South Korea's Cabinet has approved a revised bill that would ban app store operators from forcing developers to use their own in-app payment systems. Under the revised enforcement decree, app store operators will have to pay up to 2 per cent of their revenue for forcing developers to use their own in-app payment systems, and 1 per cent for delays in reviewing apps, according to the KCC.
