udaan logs 95% growth in its food & FMCG business
Fuelled by the 'Mega Bharat Sale' for kirana shops and small retailers across the country, the FMCG business witnessed a growth (on-year) of over 115 per cent with major demands coming from small-town India, the company said in a statement. To cater to the growing demand, udaan plans to scale its warehouse capacity to 50 million square feet across the country in the next 7-8 years.

Niantic said it will use the funds to invest in current games and new apps, expand the Lightship developer platform, and build out its vision for the Real-World Metaverse. The speaker grille has been split from being a single long piece to a duo of smaller ones, with one on top of the other, GizmoChina reported. The watch is expected to get some major capability upgrades in the sensor department as well. Apple's suppliers are reportedly developing components for next-generation sensors in the Apple Watch Series 8 that will allow users to measure their blood glucose level.
TikTok owner ByteDance to shut edtech biz in India: Report
After the ban on TikTok last year, ByteDance now runs education learning app Snapsolve and music streaming platform Resso in the country. According to a report in TechCrunch citing sources, "ByteDance is shutting down its edtech business in India". "Most of the employees, if not all, are being let go," one of the sources said, according to the report, adding that "the edtech division employed over three dozen people in India".
EV charging sessions to cross 1.5 bn by 2026 globally: Report
This remarkable growth rate of more than 665 per cent over the next five years will be driven by greater government incentives for electric vehicles, as well as more widespread charging service availability, according to the report by Juniper Research. The findings showed that home charging will decline slightly, accounting for over 70 per cent of all EV charging sessions in 2026, compared with just over 80 per cent in 2021.
