Apple wants US states to partially pay for digital ID cards rollout

According to a CNBC report citing documents, each state will have to "allocate reasonably sufficient personnel and resources to support the launch of the Programme on a timeline to be determined by Apple". Apple gets "sole discretion" over a number of aspects of the programme, including its device compatibility, the service's launch date, states' marketing campaigns, as well as how states report on the initiative's performance.
Some new Teslas delivered with missing USB ports: Report

Several new Tesla Model 3s and Model Ys have been delivered in the last few days with missing USB ports, often without any warning before the owners get their new cars home and notice that the car's phone charger is not working. According to the auto-tech website Electrek, the automaker blames the missing parts on the global chip shortage.
Samsung to increase production of foldables next year: Report

According to The Elec, the company will aim for 6.9 million units of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and 2.9 million of the Z Fold4. For comparison, the 2021 models targeted 4 million for the Z Flip3 and 3 million for the Z Fold3. Samsung is reportedly planning to manufacture 14 million Galaxy S22 phones, 8 million S22+ and 11 million S22 Ultras.
Indian govt aims to block 'irresponsible' crypto ads

Global cloud sales set to reach $474 bn in 2022

Over the next few years, market research firm Gartner estimated that cloud revenue will surpass non-cloud revenue for relevant enterprise IT markets. "There is no business strategy without a cloud strategy. The adoption and interest in public cloud continues unabated as organisations pursue a "cloud first" policy for onboarding new workloads," said Milind Govekar, distinguished vice president at Gartner.

The new macro toggle inside the Camera app for the iPhone 13 Pro reportedly went under the radar earlier this week. Instead of having to dig into settings, then Camera and Auto Macro to disable or enable the feature, there's now a toggle right in the Camera app.
Musk sells Tesla stock worth $6.9bn after Twitter poll troll

According to a regulatory filing made public on late Friday, the Tesla CEO reported selling 1.2 million shares on Friday, worth more than $1.2 billion, reports The Wall Street Journal. Those sales came on top of more than $5.6 billion worth of stock sales earlier this week. Recently, a report said that initial filings in the US showed that Musk had sold 934,091 shares for about $1.1 billion.
Google unlikely to release new Pixelbook in 2022

A statement at a recent Qualcomm press event in London hints that there will not be an update to the original "premium" Pixelbook until 2023 at the earliest, reports 9To5Google. "Next year (2022) there won't be anything coming. In future I don't know," said Chrys Tsolaki, Retail Manager for Chromebooks at Google, when asked about a potential 2022 Pixelbook release.
Foxconn expects supply-chain issues until second half of 2022

Local firm Bounce set to give tough competition to Ola Electric

Industry sources told IANS that the Bounce e-scooter will be launched later this month, and pre-booking will begin from December first week and deliveries to start by January. The e-scooter without battery will be available for under Rs 50,000 (swappable battery option) and around Rs 70,000 for a fixed battery model (that is also removable and can be charged at home).
