Blue Origin to build a private space station by 2030

For the project Blue Origin has partnered with spaceflight company Sierra Space, a subsidiary of the Sierra Nevada Corporation, Boeing, Redwire Space, Genesis Engineering Solutions, and Arizona State University, the company said in statement. "The station will open the next chapter of human space exploration and development by facilitating the growth of a vibrant ecosystem and business model for the future," the statement said.
Huawei's HarmonyOS-powered EV to launch later this year

The car is priced between 388,900 yuan and 429,900 yuan ($60,000 to $66,000) and runs HarmonyOS and related applications powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin processor, reports GizmoChina. Alpha S has been developed in partnership with a unit of state-controlled automaker BAIC Group and it is the result of over a billion dollars worth of investment for research.
Apple iOS 14 privacy changes hitting us hard: Mark Zuckerberg

In an earnings call after posting robust Q3 results, Zuckerberg said late on Monday that the company did experience revenue headwinds this quarter. "Apple's changes are not only negatively affecting our business, but millions of small businesses, and what is already a difficult time for them and the economy," he told the analysts. Facebook has been fiercely critical of the iOS 14 changes since these were introduced some months ago.
YouTube to demonetise low-quality kids' videos from Nov

YouTube channels that primarily target young audiences are classified as "made for kids". "These channels will need to deliver high-quality content and comply with kids-specific monetisation policies," said James Beser, Director of Product Management, Kids and Family at YouTube. For example, channels that have predominantly low-quality kids content such as "heavily commercial or promotional" or "encouraging negative behaviours or attitudes" may be suspended from YouTube Partner Programme.
150% increase in usage of Teams by frontline workers: Microsoft

'GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition' game to release on Nov 11

The game will be a digital version and the physical version of the 'The Definitive Edition' will be released on December 7, reports GizmoChina. The company previously said it is also planning to launch on mobile devices later in 2022. Rockstar games have shared a short clip of the GTA trilogy game on YouTube. It appears that the graphics in the game are more modern compared to the original graphics.

Shipping time for new MacBook Pro slips to late Nov

According to 9To5Mac, the delays are primarily affecting custom configurations of the new MacBook Pro models. The 16-inch MacBook Pro is even more affected by delays. Apple says that the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will be available in Apple stores and from Apple authorized resellers starting on Tuesday. However, only default configuration options will be available from stores.
MacBook Air 2022 may be the first to feature 'M2' chip

It is not expected to be as powerful as the 'M1 Pro' and 'M1 Max' as it will be aimed at lower-power devices, reports MacRumors. The new laptops are expected to pick up from where the current generation M1 chips ended, and as such could bring even more improvements specifically in terms of performance and battery life. M2aCE chip will have the same number of computing cores (eight) but nine or 10 graphics cores instead of seven or eight.
Clubhouse to soon let you pin links to top of rooms

The feature rolls out on October 27 for both iOS and Android. According to The Verge, Clubhouse CEO Paul Davison and global head of marketing Maya Watson announced a new pinned links feature, which allows moderators to place outside links at the top of a room.
