According to industry experts, the issue with smartphone makers entering the laptop category is two-fold. The first one is a massive supply crunch in the laptop component market and only big brands are able to get volume and supplies. The other factor is that the traditional players are very strong in the consumer laptop market.

According to Engadget, when someone shares their Revue newsletter, the tweet will include a subscribe button. If someone clicks a link to a specific newsletter issue, they will see an option to subscribe when they return to their Twitter feed. The feature is live on the web now, and it is coming to iOS and Android soon. In addition, if your Twitter account is linked to an email address, you can sign up to receive newsletter updates with a single click. You will not need to confirm your subscription through your email inbox, the report said.
Apple loses legal battle against Huawei 'MatePod' trademark

According to a report in the South China Morning Post, the iPhone maker opposed the Shenzhen-based Huawei's use of the "MatePod" brand in the earphone category "on the grounds that it was similar to Apple's own trademarks for the terms Pod, iPod, EarPods and AirPods". The Chinese authority, however, did not find Apple's argument compelling.
Musk says Starship may be ready for orbital launch next month

According to TechCrunch, SpaceX will require approvals from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to make the attempt, as it has done for all of its previous Starship test flights from its development location outside of Brownsville, Texas. The FAA requires SpaceX to demonstrate that it has taken all necessary security measures to ensure that there is minimal risk if something goes wrong during the launch attempts.

New whistleblower accuses FB of 'profits' over fighting hate speech

Google Meet hosts can keep participants' microphones, cameras off

The feature has been rolled for Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals and Education Plus domains. It will launch to additional Google Workspace editions in the coming months. The microphone and camera lock feature will be off by default; hosts will have to turn it on during meetings if they want to use it. The feature will be useful in all-hands meetings and training programs with globally distributed teams, as well as educators communicating with students.
