TikTok is coming to LG's recent smart TVs
The app arrived on these recent webOS 5.0 and webOS 6.0 models with a firmware update that started rolling out on October 7, but will also be coming to older 2019 TVs "in the coming months". The app is launching in the UK, France and Germany, citing a TikTok representative The Verge reported on Friday.
Motorola Moto E40 with 90Hz LCD, 48MP main camera launched
The device comes in Carboy Gray and Pink Clay colors. Despite the announcement, the company is yet to disclose pricing and availability, reports GizChina. In terms of specifications, the Moto E20 features a 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate as well as a punch-hole design for selfie camera.

Android 12 introduces user privacy enhancements for all managed devices, including improved transparency of admin controls. "Work profile users will be able to approve (if allowed by their IT admin) or deny sensor-related permissions, such as location and camera, to work profile apps. On fully-managed devices, IT admins can choose to give their users this same control," Google said in a statement late Thursday.

Smartphones worth $17 bn likely to be sold in India festive quarter
With over 49.9 million smartphones expected to sell during the festive quarter (Q4), the sales contribution of the quarter by revenue and volume is estimated at 56 per cent and 32 per cent, respectively. The revenue contributions will be led by the premium smartphone segment (Rs 25,000-Rs 50,000), contributing 51.7 per cent of the total revenues during the quarter, according to market research firm techARC.

Game streaming platform Twitch confirms massive data breach
According to The Verge, Twitch admitted a hacker was able to access data that was mistakenly exposed to the internet "due to an error in a Twitch server configuration change that was subsequently accessed by a malicious third party". "We can confirm a breach has taken place. Our teams are working with urgency to understand the extent of this," the company wrote on Twitter.
New App Store rule streamlines app account deletion: Report
Detailed in an update to Apple's developer website, App Store Guideline 5.1.1 mandates that apps with account creation capabilities must also provide users an option to delete the said account within the app, reports AppleInsider. "If your app doesn't include significant account-based features, let people use it without a login." the guidelines read.
