As per the report, the US will again be the biggest shipment driver globally. The company mentioned that soon "an improved Home and Library experience" is also coming that will offer a revamped Library with "new filter and sort menus, a new collections view and an interactive scroll bar". The updated Home portal will feature a Recently Read section that stores up to 20 items, which can be accessed by swiping left.
California passes bill targeting Amazon's algorithm-driven rules
Under the bill, warehouses will be required to disclose to government agencies, and to the employees, the quotas and metrics used to track workers, the Guardian reported on Friday. It would ban penalties for "time off-task", which discourage workers from using the bathroom or taking other necessary breaks, while also prohibiting retaliation against workers who complain, the report said.
