Apple should pay Optis $300 mn in patent dispute: US jury
According to media reports, the five patents in question were once belonged to Samsung, Panasonic and LG and were obtained by Optis. "A jury in Texas awarded $300 million in damages to Optis Wireless and its constellation of companies, to be paid by Apple because the 4G/LTE tech in its iPhones, iPads, and Watches were deemed to have infringed Optis' communications patents," reports The Registrar.

Xiaomi removes anti-lost mode from Mi Mix 4
The Mi Mix 4 has a built-in virtual SIM card that can help locate the device even if it has no SIM card. However, the feature had to be removed due to non-compliance with national regulations (China), reports Gizmo China. According to the official statement posted by Xiaomi on Weibo, the technology hasn't been approved for application in mobile phone products.

Reddit launches a TikTok-like video feed on iOS
According to 9To5Mac, if the interface looks familiar, that's because it is inspired by TikTok. The video feed can be accessed through a new button located right next to the search bar. Once the user taps it, the app shows full-screen videos in a vertically scrollable list. In addition to playback controls, the interface also features upvoting and downvoting buttons, as well as comments, sharing and awarding.
