Apple plans to make iOS detect child abuse photos: Report
Apple has previously removed individual apps from the App Store over child pornography concerns, but now it's said to be about to introduce such a detection system widely. Using photo hashing, iPhones could identify Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on the device. Apple has not confirmed this and so far the sole source is the security expert Matthew Green.

OLED displays to account for 3% of TV panel market in 2021
Global TV panel shipment reached 135.2 million units in the first half of the year, up 3.5 percent from a year earlier, and high-end OLED TV panels accounted for about 2.6 percent of them, or 3.55 million pieces over the period, according to market researcher TrendForce. Apple faces patent lawsuit over iPhone security tools: Report
Lodged in the patent holder-friendly US District Court for the Western District of Texas, the suit from Altpass LLC claims Apple's iPhone infringes on a pair of patents that detail methods of creating digital signatures that can later be used for user authentication. This can include passcode and password creation, as well as Face ID technology, the complaint alleges.

Covid-19 lockdowns hit Spotify music consumption: Study
The study, appearing in the journal Marketing Science, analysed streaming data from Spotify, one of the largest music streaming service providers, for weekly top 200 songs during 104 consecutive weeks between June 2018 and May 2020 in 60 countries. In more than two-thirds of the countries that studied enforced lockdowns, music streaming volume declined significantly after the lockdowns took effect.
