Micromax unveils affordable smartphone, earbuds

The 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB variants are priced at Rs 7,999 and Rs 8,999, respectively, and offers black, blue and green colour options. Micromax also forayed into the audio segment with the launch of true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in two variants -- AirFunk 1 and 1 Pro -- at Rs 1,299 and Rs 2,499.
Twitter Spaces update makes it easier to share, discover live audio

Now, users will be able to compose a new tweet directly from the Space, which will link to the audio chat and any accompanying hashtags, reports Engadget. While it was previously possible to compose new tweets while listening to a Space, having the composer directly in the Space will allow participants to more easily tweet about the conversation as it's happening.

Apple in November last year introduced three new Mac devices -- MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac Mini -- powered by the Apple M1 system on a chip (SoC). "The M1 can meet most of the general demands. However, it is not only a replacement for the Intel CPU but also allows Apple to develop new apps and create fully controlled ecosystems," said Brady Wang, Associate Director, Counterpoint Research.

HP maintained the pole position with shipments of 4.3 million units and growth of 116 per cent in the second quarter. Lenovo took second place with 2.6 million units shipped increasing shipments by 82 per cent from a year ago and Acer secured a top-three position with growth of 83 per cent, propelling it above 1.8 million units in shipments," according to latest data from market research firm Canalys released on Thursday.
Intel announces new Xeon W-3300 processors

Apple says chip shortage may impact iPhone production: Report

Apple executives said that the revenue for the current fiscal fourth quarter will grow by double-digits but be below the 36.4 per cent growth rate in the just-ended third quarter, Gizmo China reported on Friday. They also added that while the impact of the chip shortage was less severe than feared in the third quarter, it will get worse in the fourth, extending to iPhone production.
