YouTube rolls out video playback speed controls for Android TV
The added support for playback speed controls lets users slow down or speed up a video based on their preferences. This is a feature that's long been available on the YouTube website and in mobile apps, but now it's also available on TVs, 9To5Google reported. The option appears under the extended settings menu. Once you have landed on it, though, you will have the option to adjust playback speed from 0.25x speed to 0.5x.
Apple unveils watchOS 8, new health tools
The company said that it will let people share the data from their Health app with family members or others. In the Health app, a new Sharing tab lets users privately share their data with a trusted partner or caregiver. Meanwhile, the watchOS 8 will bring several new mindfulness features, including enhanced guided mediation, plus new data captured during sleep and additional workout modes.

The smartphone will be available in two storage variants -- 4GB+64GB priced at Rs 9,999 and 4GB+128GB for Rs 10,999. It will be available in two colours -- watery grey and watery blue -- on realme.com, Flipkart.com and mainline channels from June 9.

Apple opens Siri for third-party devices, brands
HomeKit accessory makers can now enable "Hey Siri" in their products, allowing customers to talk to and get responses from Siri on third-party devices. Siri-enabled accessories will relay requests through HomePod or HomePod mini and will support features such as Personal Requests, Intercom, timers, and alarms.
iOS 15 brings major updates to FaceTime, notifications, messages
FaceTime will receive spatial audio and voice isolation features. Users can also share music and videos during calls during Facetime. They can also include Android users on FaceTime with a shareable link that opens the call in a browser, the company announced during its WWDC21 virtual event. Notifications will show contact photos on text notifications and bigger app icons.
Dell sued in the US over Alienware gaming laptop upgrade claims
Tom's Hardware reports that the plaintiff Robert Felter, who is based in San Francisco, alleged in his lawsuit filed with the US District Court in the Northern District of California that Dell misled customers "to believe that the laptop would be upgradeable, possibly into future generations of components". "Dell's advertisement to the public didn't place any restrictions on the upgradeability of the laptop.
Flipkart introduces QR-based pay on delivery for consumers
Consumers who earlier opted for cash on delivery can now use this facility, scan the QR code attached to their purchase and make a digital payment for their order through any UPI app at the time of delivery, the company said in a statement.
