Peter Navarro Labels X a ‘Breeding Ground for Dark Forces,’ Urges Elon Musk to ‘Clean Up the Cesspool’

In the post, Navarro alleged that X is “polluting political discourse” and has become a “breeding ground and grooming Academy for the very dark forces.” “My friend @ElonMusk. How about you start fighting back by cleaning up the cesspool otherwise known as X,” Peter Navarro wrote on X. “No more anonymous posts. No more foreigners swarming your platform and polluting our political discourse,” he added.

White House trade adviser Peter Navarro has asked Elon Musk to take greater control of X (formerly known as Twitter), calling the site a "cesspool." Navarro alleged that X is "polluting political discourse" and has become a "breeding ground and grooming Academy for the very dark forces."

Earlier in the month, Tesla CEO and owner of X Elon Musk had responded to Navarro's swipe at Twitter's fact-checking of his statements on India.

In the post, Musk, wrote, "On this platform, the people decide the narrative. You hear all sides of an argument. Community Notes corrects everyone, no exceptions. Notes data & code is public source. Grok provides further fact-checking."

Navarro had vituperatively attacked Musk after Musk's tweet regarding India purchasing Russian oil had been fact-checked on X. Navarro called Twitter's Community Note "crap" and had attacked Musk for allowing "propaganda," once again asserting that India buys Russian oil for profit.
