Pakistan govt decides to block Imran Khan's long march

Police authorities have started raiding houses of senior members of the PTI in the major cities of Pakistan and have already taken into custody over 600 supporters of PTI, who were gearing up to join Imran Khan's long march towards Islamabad. In raids across the country, especially in the Punjab province, the police arrested PTI supporters, while forcing senior members of the party to go into hiding.
Bangladesh's largest bridge to open to traffic on June 25

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader made the announcement after meeting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka, reports Xinhua news agency. "Our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the bridge on June 25 morning in a grand ceremony," he said. The Bangladesh government has already fixed the toll rates of the bridge.
Indigenous Australians hold just 0.7% of executive jobs: Report

US reports over 107,000 child Covid cases in a week

The report by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Children's Hospital Association said this was the sixth consecutive weekly increase in child Covid cases, reports Xinhua news agency. Almost 13.3 million children have tested positive for Covid-19 since the onset of the pandemic more than two years ago, with over 316,000 of them detected in the past four weeks, according to the report.
Ex-Japanese PM Suga calls on Modi

Poland terminates gas contract with Russia
