CUET UG phase two exams today; candidates to get five marks for dropped questions

In the entrance test, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), questions will only be based on the Class 12 syllabus, and in case any question is found wrong or if any question is withdrawn, five marks will be given to the candidates in lieu of that question. On the basis of CUET results, all the Central universities will release their own cut-off and there will be no weightage of Class 12 marks in this cut-off. As many as 90 universities across the country, including 44 Central varsities, will accommodate students through the CUET.

The NIRF rankings are available on the official website of the NIRF- nirfindia.org. NIRF rankings 2022 has been announced for 11 categories including, overall, university, management, college, pharmacy, medical, engineering, architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), law and research institutions. For the seventh year in a row, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has maintained its top position as the best engineering college in India.
JEE Main 2022: July session results to be declared on August 6, says NTA

According to the media reports, candidates can raise objections on the answer key till August 5. Once the result and answer key is out, the candidates can check it on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. If a candidate feels to raise objections on JEE Main answer key, they can do so by paying a non refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.
UG admission: Cut-off to be based on CUET marks, not Class 12

All central universities such as Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Banaras Hindu University have been included in this programme. Let's discuss a bit in details on how and why this exam is considered crucial to get admission in colleges. Like earlier, this time also, the merit list will be prepared by different universities and their respective colleges. However, the only difference this time is that the merit list will be made on the basis of marks obtained in CUET exam, and not on the basis of Class 12 exam marks.

This year it has been made mandatory to clear the CUET exam for seeking admission in colleges affiliated to central universities. All central universities such as Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Banaras Hindu University have been included in this programme.
NIRF Rankings 2022: Top 10 research institutes in India

According to the rankings while IISC Bengaluru bagged the top place as the number one research institute in India, IIT Madras and IIT Delhi named as top 2 and top 3 in the list. The registration process is scheduled to begin from August 3 to September 14. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website from October 27. The CAT 2022 exam will be conducted in centres spread across 150 test cities. The registration fee for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD category will be Rs 1150 while it is Rs 2300 for other categories of candidates. According to the schedule, the CAT results are likely to be declared by the second week of January, 2023.

JEE Advanced 2022 exam is scheduled to take place  on August 28; paper one will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while paper two from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. However, the admit card for the exam will be issued on August 23 and the candidates can download their hall ticket from the official website- jeeadv.ac.in till August 28.
NIRF Rankings 2022: Top 10 colleges in India

This includes overall, university, management, college, pharmacy, medical, engineering, architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), law and research institutions. The Previous year, 6272 higher education institutions participated in the NIRF rankings, which gradually increased to 7254 institutions, this year. According to the rankings, this year, five colleges of the Delhi University (DU) have dominated the list of top 10 colleges in India.

State Minister for Skill Development and Technical Education Pritiranjan Ghadai, announced the result. The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2022 was conducted from July 4 to July 8 for 12 vocational courses. The OJEE 2022 exam is a state level examination, conducted once a year for  admission into B. Pharm, MBA, B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Tech (Exe) programs  offered by various private universities, government colleges, and self-financed institutes in Odisha.
