Students in Delhi government schools can now learn French language

“As a part of our programme to introduce prominent global languages in government schools, students will now have the option to learn French too," Manish Sisodia said. "Introduction of global languages like French will unlock new career options for our students in various fields and will make them professionally sound,” he added.

NEET is scheduled to be conducted in around 543 cities in India and 14 cities outside India. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The application fee for candidates from the general category is Rs 1600. The application fee for candidates in the General-EWS/OBC-NCL category is Rs 1500. Students from the SC/ST/PwBD/third gender categories must pay an application fee of Rs 900.

The doctors urged the minister to postpone the NEET PG 2022 for a reasonable period of time so that the current NEET PG 2021 aspirants get sufficient time to prepare for the same.

(Hospitality & Hotel Administration) Course at the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for the Academic Year 2022-23.
Delhi University issues guidelines for Centenary Chance Exam ; registration portal to open May 1

The university informed that the students while applying for "centenary chance" need to provide the details and documents as required. "Failing to provide the details/documents, as required, may lead to non-consideration of his/her candidature in the Centenary Chance examination. "Further, it will entail no right for the students to claim any relief in any forum on this count," the guidelines stated. The examination fee will be Rs 2,000 per paper.

“No doubt, the policy which was formulated in 2020 is yet to be implemented across schools in Delhi, despite the same having been already implemented in 21 states but once the statute i.e., the RTE Act, 2009 in itself places the KVS in a separate category coupled with the fact that all branches of KVS across the country, being run by the same management are obliged to follow the uniform criteria, the anxiousness of the KVS to introduce the age criteria of 6 years in accordance with the NEP, 2020 is well understood.”
CBSE Board exams 2022: Students to get final results even if they skip one of the two-term examinations

In a live webinar ahead of the CBSE term-2 exam, Sanyam Bhardwaj, the board’s controller of examinations, said that students who were marked absent in term-1 exams and do not appear for term-2 exams will not be allowed to take the compartment exams because “all class 12 compartment exams are conducted on the same day.” For class 10, the compartment exams are conducted in a time period of 7 days.
