JGU features in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022, first and only social sciences university in India to be ranked
JGU is only one of 61 Indian institutions, which have found a place in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2022. Overall, out of the nearly 40,000 global institutions, only 1,406 institutions have been ranked in THE Impact Rankings 2022. JGU has been ranked in the 600-800 band after the university secured a score of 60.3 out of 100.

'Do not enroll in Pakistan for higher education': UGC, AICTE advise Indian students
"All concerned are advised not to travel to Pakistan for pursuing higher education. Any Indian national or Overseas Citizen of India who intends to take admissions to any degree college or educational institution of Pakistan shall not be eligible for seeking employment or higher studies in India on the basis of such educational qualifications (in any subject) acquired in Pakistan," the advisory read.

“NEET-MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948 (amended from time to time). No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MDS courses. Delhi schools to continue in offline mode for time being despite surge in Covid cases
Experts have advised Delhi officials on the closing of schools again amid rising cases in the National Capital. Schools in Delhi will not be closed, officials said on Wednesday. "Schools will not be closed and will continue with offline classes. Schools have been asked to report all cases to the education department and ensure that Covid protocols are followed strictly. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is constantly monitoring the situation in schools," a senior official said.
