CBSE starts sending Class 12 part 1 results to schools
The students can contact their respective schools to get the results, an official said. Earlier, on last Saturday, the CBSE had released the results of the first term of Class 10 students in a similar way. The first term examination of class X and XII students were conducted in December last year. The results of both classes have been sent directly to the schools via offline mode. Students can also get it through the offline mode.
After Gujarat, Karnataka all set to introduce Bhagavad Gita in school syllabus
According to sources, the education department, though giving diplomatic statements in this regard, is preparing to teach the Bhagavad Gita, the holy Hindu scripture to students under the moral science subject. However, Congress has maintained that the present syllabus has been prepared by resourceful persons and there is no need to include anything now.
If exam paper leaks, Maharashtra to 'derecognise' school
After the SSC Marathi exam paper allegedly leaked earlier this week, the state government clamped down and derecognised the Laxmibai Secondary and Higher Secondary School, Nilajgaon, where there were allegations of mass-copying. Announcing the strong decisions in the Maharashtra Legislature, Prof. Gaikwad said that henceforth, all students must reach their examination venues at least one hour before the scheduled paper.
Indian students will be able to search for asteroids soon to foray in space stream
Indian students will get an opportunity to join the ambitious asteroid search campaign soon as the International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC) has extended an invitation to the Rajasthan government to explore opportunities for setting up a joint India-Brazil asteroid search campaign, said Mugdha Sinha, Secretary in the Department of Science and Technology, Rajasthan.
Boys outshine girls in Class XII board exams in Bihar
The Bihar Intermediate Education Council (BIEC) on Wednesday announced the results of Class XII in arts, science and commerce streams. In all the three streams, boys have performed better than girls. Ankit Kumar, the son of a vegetable vendor, came first in commerce stream by securing 473 marks out of 500. Ankit is a student of BD College in Patna.
SC permits Tamil Nadu to reserve 50% seats in super speciality medical courses
The apex court declined to entertain a plea by Dr N. Karthikeyan and others, seeking interim protection as issued by it for academic year 2020-2021. Citing the 1992 Indra Sawhney (Mandal Commission) case, the petitioners argued that there cannot be any reservation for admission in super speciality courses as per nine-judge bench decision.
CBSE revises answer key of Class X Odia paper; results of over 28K students revised
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the answer key of the Odia paper for Class X first term examination, following the intervention of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the board said on Tuesday.
HC says students forced to go to Ukraine, points out PG medical vacant seats
The Delhi High Court on Tuesday remarked that students are forced to go to places such as Ukraine, pointing out the vacant seats in PG medical courses. A Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Navin Chawla was hearing a group of students' plea to relax cut-off percentile. Asking the Centre to submit all the details related to the fixing percentile of cut-off in NEET PG medical courses for this year, the matter was posted for hearing on March 23.

With a view to address the issues related to gaps or loss of learning among students, during and after the lockdown, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has developed bridge course modules for out-of-school children including various activities which are helpful for bridging the learning gaps.
