Lessons on Vijayanagar should be part of school syllabus: Naidu
Speaking to the media during his visit to the world heritage site Hampi on Saturday with his family members, Naidu said the Vijayanagar kingdom encouraged world-class craftsmen and poets. No classes in 63 DU colleges as teachers angry over non-payment of salaries
Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) Treasurer Abha Dev Habib said the Delhi government has released only small grants for its 12 fully funded colleges. The teachers led by DUTA staged a sit-in protest online on Wednesday, demanding adequate grants to the 12 DU colleges funded by the Delhi government as well as payment of salaries to all teachers.
CU-CET 2021: Admission process underway in 12 Central universities
The Ministry of Education said the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the task of conducting CU-CET 2021 through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for admission to UG and PG programmes across central universities in the country. Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) has been made the nodal university for CU-CET 2021.
Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination-2021 results announced
The candidates who have cleared the written examination will now appear for an interview and personality test. The UPSC has also said that the candidature of these candidates was provisional whereas they would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claim relating to age, educational qualifications, community, and physical disability at the time of the personality test.
UP schools reopen with excitement, hesitancy

The Prime Minister said there has been a demand from the girl students to allow them to study in Sainik schools and therefore the Union government has decided to open the doors for girl students. Delhi CM announces 'Deshbhakti Curriculum' for govt schools on I-day
"We kept on teaching Physics, Chemistry, Maths for 70 years, no one thought of teaching children Deshbhakti. I am delighted that the Deshbhakti Curriculum will be launched in schools of Delhi to instil patriotism in young minds," he said. The Chief Minister said that the Deshbhakti Curriculum will help realise the dreams of freedom fighters and the celebration of Independence Day.
DBSE gets nod for exams, certificates
Making an announcement regarding the development, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday said the collaboration with International Baccalaureate and with approval from COBSE and Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the DBSE is all set to transform learning assessment. Students passing out of DBSE schools will have universal recognition and acceptance.

'Classroom in bus' provides free education to deprived children
Not only Nirmal, several underprivileged children who were deprived of the studies now join him in the 'Classroom Bus' for study. Every day four buses that have been converted into moving classrooms ply on Delhi's roads to provide education to the children living in slums. These buses aim to provide education to such children who have not been to schools.
