CBSE introduces 'Coding', 'Data Science' from current session
Sharing the information, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted: "Under NEP 2020, we promised to introduce coding and data science in schools. Today, I'm happy to see CBSE fulfilling the promise right in the session of 2021 itself. "In association with Microsoft, CBSE is empowering India's future generations with new-age skills. Kudos."
Karnataka cancels class 12 board exams, to hold class 10 exams in MCQ format
Addressing a press conference here, Karnataka Education Minister, S. Suresh Kumar announced the decision which has come as a big relief to lakhs of students, parents and teachers who were anxiously waiting for the announcement of examination dates since March-April this year. Since then the state government had to postpone these crucial examinations conducted by two separate state boards annually.

The move came a day after a cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, in which all ministers of the ruling Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress unanimously spoke in favour of cancelling the exams. CBSE Class XII board exams cancelled for this year
The decision was taken after a key meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Cabinet ministers and the concerned officials. It was decided that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will take steps to compile the results of Class XII students as per a well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner, the PMO said.
