Megastar Amitabh Bachchan spoke about how he's excited and apprehensive about the new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, which has begun and recognized the buzz of the contestants and the audience as the real driving force behind the show.
Amitabh vented out in his blog where he wrote: "At work. early rise, early work. first day of KBC new season. and as always. the nerves. the shaking knees the apprehension (sic)."
"The contestants and the audience in the great KBC floor make all the difference.they are so we are. Truly .So to them all. my wishes and prayers (sic)," he further added.
The 17th season of the popular TV game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' will hit screens on August 11.
Sony Entertainment Television on Thursday launched the new campaign of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) Season 17 with the theme of the spirit of modern-day India.
Entitled 'Jahaan Akal Hai, Wahaan Akad Hai', the campaign shines the spotlight squarely on how knowledge is empowering India, driving common man's dreams, building confidence, and chasing a bold 'Can Do' spirit.
In a statement earlier, Amitabh had stated that 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' has always been a celebration of knowledge and the quiet pride that accompanies it.
He further added: "This year's campaign, 'Jahan Akal Hai, Wahan Akad Hai', reflects that sentiment perfectly well and reminds people to be proud of their intelligence and to walk tall with the confidence that comes from really knowing.".
"Kaun Banega Crorepati" is the Hindi version of the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" franchise. It is hosted by actor Amitabh Bachchan, who has hosted the show throughout its run except for season three, when he was replaced by Shah Rukh Khan.
The contestants are presented with multiple choice questions and have to pick the correct response from four options, and they are given lifelines that can be utilized if they are not sure.
