'Bigg Boss 19' contestant Tanya Mittal has made a scintillating entry into the show, accompanied by an impressive array of 800 sarees for the reality show hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
A staunch promoter of Indian fabrics and traditional handicrafts, Tanya is not just an entrepreneur but also a social worker and fashion lover. She considers the saree to be more than just a piece of clothing, terming it as an expression of one's identity.
Talking about her entrance, Tanya said: "I am not leaving the luxuries behind, I am carrying my jewellery, accessories and over 800 sarees within the house. For each day I have chosen 3 sarees which I will be changing all day long."
This year's season, titled "Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar," has contestants such as Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, Awez Darbar, Ashnoor Kaur, Mridul Tiwari, Nagma Mirajkar, Kunickaa Sadanand, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Nehal Chudasama, Natalia Janoszek, Pranit More, Farhana Bhatt, and Neelam Giri.

After her nomination, Tanya was spotted crying, disclosing that what pained her the most was being nominated by Pranit More and Mridul Tiwari, people she considered friends.
At the same time, Farhana Bhatt, the one who got evicted by the housemates, is now in the secret room. Bigg Boss requested her to share her thoughts regarding the reasons provided by the housemates for nominating others.
"Bigg Boss 19" is telecast on JioHotstar and Colors.
Based on the original Dutch series Big Brother developed by John de Mol Jr., Bigg Boss was first broadcast in India in 2004 and has become one of the nation's leading reality TV franchises. The program allows contestants, referred to as "housemates," to share a specially built house and live cut off from the rest of the world.
