Kanye West, as well known for his music as for his frequent public controversies, now finds himself facing serious new charges of sexual misconduct, including sex trafficking and sexual battery. The allegations are contained in an amended lawsuit brought by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta.
As reported by Variety, Pisciotta first worked with West in 2021 as an A&R on his album Donda's production.
She then served as his personal assistant. She initially sued him in June 2024 for wrongful termination and sexual harassment. The revised complaint that Variety has seen introduces much more disturbing allegations.
Pisciotta now alleges West "orally raped her without her consent" and coerced her into sex through offers of career development—offers she alleges were fraudulent and exploitative.
West's representatives have not commented on the new claims. After the initial lawsuit, however, his attorneys called the allegations "baseless" and said that they planned to file a countersuit.
The amended complaint enumerates a variety of charges, such as sexual harassment, sexual battery, assault, sex trafficking, gender discrimination, stalking, and false imprisonment. It also mentions intentional infliction of emotional distress and promissory estoppel among others.
The court filing says, "Ye forced Ms. Pisciotta to endure obscene remarks about her body, insisted on her wearing tight clothing, groped her on a daily basis, made her watch Ye have sex with other women, sent her sexually explicit photographs and insisted she reciprocate and insisted that she participate in his sex activity, which she declined."
The complaint also states that West tried to insert his fingers vaginally into her on one occasion and, on another occasion, forced oral sex upon her—both, according to reports, having occurred while she was working.
In another disturbing claim, Pisciotta accuses West of offering her for sex to someone in exchange for sleeping with that person’s partner. The lawsuit also asserts that West had a pattern of “notoriously offering women as sexual ‘gifts’ to men.”
These new allegations intensify the legal challenges facing West, whose behavior and professional relationships continue to be the subject of growing scrutiny.
