Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan recently posted that he had to reinstall Instagram simply to share how much he loved comedian Vir Das' latest stand-up special.
Going on his Instagram Stories, Hrithik shared a screenshot of Vir's new special "Vir Das: Fool Volume", with the caption: "Had to re-install Instagram cause I had to say this."
The actor did not spare his complimenting words, stating: "Vir Das's Fool Volume must be the greatest stand up show ever."
The Netflix stand-up special, featuring performances in Mumbai, New York, and London, is Vir Das' fifth outing on the platform. With this film, Vir is the first Indian comedian to have five Netflix specials under his belt. His past internationally recognized pieces include Abroad Understanding, Losing It, For India, and the Emmy-winning Landing.
Meanwhile, professionally, Hrithik Roshan had just completed the shoot for his highly anticipated action movie War 2. On July 8, he tweeted from his X handle (formerly Twitter) what was on his mind, releasing a photo of him partying with director Ayan Mukerji.
"An emotional mix bag of sorts as the cameras stopped rolling for #War2. 149 days of non-stop chase, action, dance, blood, sweat, injuries. and it was all WORTH IT!" he posted.
Hrithik also thanked his co-stars, saying: "@tarak9999 sir it has been an honour to work with you and be a part of something so beautiful together. @advani_kiara I'm so thrilled for the world to see the deadly side of you, you've been amazing to share screen with."
Looking back on the emotional wrap of shooting, he said: "Finally, it's always bitter-sweet saying goodbye to Kabir, it will take a couple of days to be myself again. Now on the journey of bringing our film to you all on August 14th, 2025."
The movie, directed by Ayan Mukerji and being produced by Aditya Chopra, is likely to be a big on-screen spectacle, with Hrithik once again playing the role of Kabir in the second installment of the YRF Spy Universe.
