In recent weeks, there had been suggestions that Kiku was quitting or taking a break from The Great Indian Kapil Show to prioritize his role in Rise & Fall. A few media reports even stated he had a falling out with fellow comedian Krushna Abhishek.

Clarifications have now emerged, however, assuring that the actor would indeed be back for the subsequent season of Kapil's show as soon as production is underway.

As per a source, "Kiku Sharda has already shot for the ongoing season of Kapil's show. There is no pending work, no abrupt departure, and no disagreement between him and the team. His stint in Rise & Fall followed after wrapping up his commitments for Kapil's show and that is why fans may have thought he was quitting.

The source also emphasized that his relationship with Krushna Abhishek remains intact: "Everything is just hunky-dory between Kiku and Krushna. The two actors have a good, professional relationship, and whatever video or clip gave the impression that something was amiss between them was all part of the comedy act of the show. There isn't anything bitter or against each other."

Kiku Sharda is still part of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Though he has finished working for the ongoing season, he is still a regular member of the team. His joining Rise & Fall represents the launch of a new chapter in his career, as opposed to his departure from Kapil Sharma's comedy series.
