Six years since the launch of "The Family Man", National Award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee has indicated a third season, keeping people in suspense with the words, "operation underway."
Manoj posted a series of throwback photos from the first season of the show on Instagram. The 2018-started spy-action thriller is produced by Raj & DK and features Srikant Tiwari, a middle-aged man leading a double life as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional unit within the National Investigation Agency.
For the caption, Manoj wrote: “6 years since #TheFamilyMan Season 1 dropped and became a cult classic. Season 3? Bas samajh lo, operation underway…”
Season two finds Srikant Tiwari quitting TASC to work in the private sector, as he wishes to spend more time with his family. He is again forced into action by a strong new opponent, as he has to reveal and halt a deadly combination of an old foe and a latent organization of foreign insurgents.
Manoj's current projects are "Inspector Zende", where he appears as the lead character and Jim Sarbh plays Carl Bhojraj, a character based on the infamous serial killer Charles Sobhraj. The cast includes Sachin Khedekar, Girija Oak, and Bhalchandra Kadam.
He is also featured in 'Jugnuma', a film directed by Raam Reddy. Filmed in the late 1980s in the Indian Himalayas, the movie tracks Dev, who finds mysteriously burnt trees strewn all over his expansive fruit orchard property. As fires keep breaking out even as he tries to contain them, Dev starts viewing his family and himself in a very new light.
