Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Celebrate Arrival of Their Third Child

Rihanna has entered motherhood once again, welcoming her third child.

The 37-year-old singer of 'Love On The Brain' fame gave birth to Rocki Irish Mayers, her rapper A$AP Rocky's baby, people magazine reported.

Rihanna broke the happy news on Instagram with the first peeks at her newborn. Rocki was born on September 13, 2025, although Rihanna made the announcement to the general public on Thursday via her social media.

Rihanna, in the Instagram picture, is holding baby Rocki, who is wearing a pink onesie. Rihanna also posted a close-up photo of the infant's wee pink gloves, which are tied with tiny ribbons at the top.

The pair, who have been together since 2020, revealed on May 5 that they are expecting their third child. Rihanna flaunted her baby bump while out for a walk in New York City, and A$AP Rocky, 36, confirmed the rumor on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet. The couple already have two sons: RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, who was born in 2023.

Even though Rihanna and A$AP Rocky hadn't necessarily mapped out a family when their first child arrived, the 'Work' singer explained to Vogue that they were "certainly not planning against it" either.

"I always thought it would be marriage first, then a baby, but who the f*** says it has to be that way”, she told the outlet in April 2022. "I'm certainly not gonna let that get in the way of me being a mom”.

Following the couple's pregnancy announcement on the 2025 Met Gala, a close source revealed to People that they are "thrilled to be expanding their family".

The source further revealed why they wanted their kids to be close in age, commenting, "Rihanna has always wanted a big family, so she couldn’t be more excited. Rihanna and Rocky are thrilled to be growing their family and they can’t wait to give their boys another sibling”.

“They wanted to have their children close together in age, so that they could grow up together and share a close bond. They feel so blessed and are so grateful for this next chapter in their lives. It’s a very special time”, the source added.
