Rising actress Aneet Padda has shared a heartfelt message in response to the overwhelming appreciation she has received for her role in Saiyaara.
Expressing deep gratitude, Aneet promised to continue putting her heart into her craft—no matter how imperfect—so long as it touches people emotionally.
Sharing on Instagram, Aneet uploaded a succession of movie stills, which was directed by director Mohit Suri. Along with the photos, she uploaded an emotive caption showing her present mood.
"The stupor is fading and all I want to tell you is that I love you. I don't know you. But I do know that I love you. All this love that you've been so liberal with giving me, it's weighing on my chest, and I don't know what to do except return it," she wrote.
The young star confessed that she is nervous about what comes next for her career, but insisted she's dedicated to putting her all—no matter how much it feels into it—into her work.
"I'm afraid of what's next, afraid I won't be enough, but whatever I have, even the tiniest little bit of me, I'll lay it out."
She continued to detail her reason for keeping on performing, revealing that what motivates her is the way her work can affect people.
"If it makes you laugh, or cry, or remember something you thought you'd forgotten, if it makes you feel a little less alone – then maybe that's what I'm here for. And I'll keep trying. Imperfect, but with everything I've got. Because I love you."
Saiyaara, a music romantic drama, stars Aneet with debutant Ahaan Panday. The film is about Krish Kapoor, a troubled musician, and his strong emotional connection with Vaani Batra, a shy poet.
Next in line for Aneet is streaming series Nyaya, which is being handled by Nitya Mehra and her husband Karan Kapadia. Incidentally, the series was shot prior to Aneet signing Saiyaara.
As per a trade source, Nyaya will not change Aneet's pace as a stage lead in Yash Raj Films.
"Aneet is a heroine of the big screen for YRF. Nyaya was filmed prior to her signing 'Saiyaara' and has no effect on her career line as a theatrical heroine in the future. A girl delivering perhaps a INR 400 crore hit in the theatres, a real Gen Z star at the age of merely 22 years, will be reserved for theatricals," the source told.
They added further, "There are massive plans to make her the face of a generation and that can be done only by building her theatrical equity."
